This case study introduces the reduction of unpleasant odors generated during the dismantling process using gas welding equipment, achieved through the spraying of the deodorant "Mushugen Y250-SQ," aimed at improving the environment inside the tunnel. The unpleasant odors that arose after the dismantling work of the shield machine had deteriorated the working environment within the tunnel. The deodorant "Mushugen Y250-SQ" was diluted to 2,000 times and sprayed at a rate of 276 ml/min using one mist fan. For areas with particularly strong odors, the spraying rate was increased by using two mist fans. We would like to introduce a case study of the instant deodorant "Deofre" handled by Sanyu Corporation. It was introduced as a measure against the casting odor generated from resin-coated sand during pouring. The site is a manufacturing factory building with a ventilation fan of 100m³/min, where the product was diluted with tap water and sprayed in the manufacturing area and on the ventilation fan. 【Case Study】 ■ Purpose: Measure against casting odor generated from resin-coated sand during pouring ■ Site Overview: Manufacturing factory building with a ventilation fan of 100m³/min ■ Usage Method: Dilute Deofre with tap water and spray in the manufacturing area and on the ventilation fan * "Deofre" is displayed at the permanent exhibition hall (Osaka ATC Green Eco Plaza).
